I have some info on Benjamin Vanderslice who married Margaret C. Scott, who had 2 children that married into the Jessop/Jessup family. They came to Dallas/Perry Co. Alabama from Kentucky ca 1820. I have info on the children of Benjamin and Margaret Scott Vanderslice but nothing on the immediate ancestors. I am particularly interested if the Scott or Vanderslice line had any Quaker connection. Margaret Scott was identified as born in VA. Also I am interested in the NC/SC connection. I am descended from Benjamin and Margaret through their daughter, Martha (Patsy) who married Sidner Smith born 1805 in Kentucky. I have not been able to identify his line.
