Searching for Richard Allday and Wright Rice. They apparently owned a ferry in the area as I found where they were given permission to operate the ferry. Richard Allday sued his creditors in 1836, which apparently means he had retail business there, cannot find a list of the creditors, where the business was or where the ferry was located. Have been told by some researchers that a half-breed owned ferry there, if so would you know his name. We have always been told there is Cherokee in the line.
