Here are the "Freedmen's Bureau Records Bill" Cosponsors and Members of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Treasury, Postal Services, and General Government that will decide the funding for the Preservation of the Freedmen's Bureau Records. The bill is HR 5157, "The Freedmen's Bureau Records Preservation Act of 2000," cosponsored by Rep. Juanita Millender-McDonald (D-CA) and Rep. J.C. Watts (R-OK).
