From: <Lecaverjr@aol.com> Sent: Sunday, October 15, 2000 4:23 PM Subject: AUTAUGA CEMETERY TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT The Autauga Genealogical Society will be hosting a Cemetery Tour of several old cemeteries in western Autauga County around the Independence and Billingsley communities on Saturday, Nov. 4th, 2000. All persons interested in attending need to meet in the parking lot between the courthouse and the Probate Office at 7:00 a.m. We will car pool in vehicles to the designated cemeteries. Also, please dress casual as some of the cemeteries are in remote locations and will require some walking. We will stop at mid-day to eat lunch at the Independence Community Center so bring your favorite sandwich and chips (sack lunch). The tentative list of cemeteries to be toured are: Love Family Cemetery, Old Harmony Cemetery, Roy Family Cemetery, Old Bethesda Cemetery, Nunn Family Cemetery, Herrman Cemetery, Jones Family Cemetery, Colee Cemetery, Apperson Family Cemetery, Gaines Family Cemetery (Vida), Big Springs Cemetery.
