Ann: I have records on Alexanders who migrated to Dallas County Ala as early as 1819-1820, from Christian County, Kentucky, in a large migration of Armstrong-Woods-Read-Alexander-McGough families. In particular, an Abigail Alexander was married to Thomas Woods, Jr. They had a large family, Also, as I remember it, Alexanders were associated with the Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church in northern Dallas County.
