Jim - Since you volunteered, I'd be interested in any information you might have on John H. McCollum, who was a sergeant in the 8th Alabama Infantry. We know he enlisted in Radfordsville in 1861 for the duration, but we don't know what happened to him. Family lore says he was killed in the Battle of the Wilderness, but other information says he was still present with his unit at Petersburg in December, 1864. I'd appreciate any info you might have.
