GARDNER - ARNETT I am looking for Dallas County connections to my ancestor Joseph Benjamin GARDNER (b 1840 Monroe County GA- d 1895 Shelby County AL), most especially to a Mrs. Martha J. Arnett or Marcy J. Arnett. They were mentioned together in relation to a law firm in Selma (Cauthorn and Coleman?) ca 1890. Joseph Benjamin Gardner was the son of John Gardner and Elizabeth SIKES from Monroe County, GA. My GARDNER family of Shelby County AL and many of the GARDNERs in Dallas County are descended from the same South Carolina Family.
