Researching Pleasant Lee, my gr-grandfather, born around 1862. Married to Lula Richard Bowles, they raised a family in Montgomery, Al. They had four children, Robert Earl Lee, Claude Lee, Ada Lee, and my grandmother, Bessie Gertrude Lee, born 12-25-1893. Trying to find out who his parents were, where he was born. I found a Pleasant Lee listed in the 1840 Dallas Co. Census, thought there may be a connection. If anyone has any information on the Lee's, I would love to hear from you. Thanks, Susan
