My g-g-g-uncle, Chesley Gwin (aka Chess and Charley) m1. 22 Mar 1850 to Fannie Bell; m2. to the widow Blevins. Your Matilda Edgar Phillips (who married William Blevins) died in 1837, so SHE is not this Widow Blevins, but her daughter-in-law could've been, especially since her widower, William, died in Dallas Co. where he likely would've been staying with his son/daughter-in-law were he ill or incapacitated.
