    3. Lois, Don't know whether you have seen it but, if not, the Cullman Library site is well worth a visit. The link is: http://www.ccpls.com/ And the links found there to their Special Collections and Local history pages are very good resources everyone can share. My Davis, Dismukes, Howard and Whitaker families are all listed in the Holly Pond cemetery pages they have on line - as will be your Plunketts - and there are quite a few others to see too. It is possible that Mr. Myrick might offer the fine sounding document you have zipped in the in Dan Scott's Holly Pond heritage pages. I sent Dan a transcript and images of the document of my great aunt Maude Davis Johnson's recollections of her youth in Holly Pond at the turn of the century (which mentions your relatives) and some old photos of her family. The link to that is: http://www.ccpls.com/Holly%20Pond%20frontweb.html For all of us so far away now these are splendid helps and a credit to the generosity of all genealogy enthusiasts. 2. John Paul Myrick
    3. Friends, As many of you may know, a chapter of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution has been formed in Cullman. Our chapter was officially chartered in November, and anyone who joins during the first year will be listed as "charter members." Male persons who descended from Revolutionary patriots or persons who provided public service to the colonies during the period of the conflict are eligible to apply. For more information on the SAR, visit www.sar.org. If you have further interest in the Cullman Chapter SAR or in joining, please let me know.
