Hello all, I am trying to get into contact with Bradley J. Nichols about his line of Rollo's in the Cullman Co., AL area. Thank you Bushy Hartman May 31, 2006 Dear Dawn, I am a descendent of John Jessie Rollo, Amos Rollo's father. My Great Grandmother was Ida Rollo, Amos's Full sister by John Jessie's first wife Sara Allums. In my records has Ruby Lee Oakley as being born in 1906. I don't have much information on Ruby, but Amos is buried in Mckinley's Chapel Cemetery, in Cold Springs (My be listed on the map as Bremen), Cullman County, Alabama. (also known as Bug Tussle). John Jessie Rollo is also buried in the same cemetery with his second wife, Jo Amy Chambers. Sara Allums died in 1910, and is buried at Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, in Empire, Walker County, Alabama. I have pictures of the tombstones for all of the above mentioned graves. Amos was the youngest of Sara's children. I have the Rollo family traced back to about 1750, in South Carolina. I would be glad to share any or all information I have on the Rollo family.
