Hi, My Elliott connections settled in the Cullman, Blount area around 1880 also. Nathaniel ELLIOTT, b. 1822 GA; married, 1846 GA, Permelea BARTON, b. 1825 GA. Andrew ELLIOTT, b. 1822 GA (twin to Nathaniel); married Elizabeth BARTON, b. 1832 GA (sister to Permelia). I am searching for other siblings of Nathaniel & Andrew ELLIOTT, would they happen to be brothers to your James J. ELLIOTT? I have lot of info to share on these two lines.
