Also, my ggg-grandfather, Daniel H. Young, named his first born son (my gg-grandfather) John Wesley Young and I believe that was possibly after the Methodist leader, John Wesley. Although it may have been only the middle name after the Methodist leader and my gg-grandfather's given name may have been after his grandfather (my gggg-grandfather), whom I believe may have been John Young of Davidson Co, TN. Not enough documentation to ascertain that as of yet. My Jernigans of New Castle, AL were staunch Baptists I believe. In colonial Virginia and North Carolina they were Church of England.
