My Moores came out of NC. Last point of certainty is Andrew Moore b. 1801 NC married Sarah McClendon in ST. Clair Co. AL. He resided Jefferson Co. most of his life. Hiram Joseph Moore b. 1867 AL is his grandson, son of Andrew Jr. b. 1840 and Martha C. Arnett Moore. Andrew Jr. did have a brother named John Riley, so there might be a connection somewhere between our Moores. He eventually moved back to Jefferson Co about the time he married my ggm Sarah Elliott Chandler. John Riley Moore and wife Juliana Arnett Moore are buried Cullman co. in Bremen area.
