I have a photo that had belonged to my grandmother, Annie Belle (Fine) Kelly. On the back of this picture is written "Uncle Bob and Aunt Fanny McCoy, Flat Top, Alabama". I've been researching my family for about 26 years and I've never found a connection to "Uncle Bob and Aunt Fanny". I hope someone can help me. Thanks to others on this list, I have discovered that they are buried at Cold Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Cullman Co. The stones say: Frances A. McCoy 12 Aug 1854--30 April 1929 w/o Robert H. Robert H. McCoy 20 April 1846--1925. I've also learned that Frances "Fannie" McCoy's maiden name may have been Clayborne. Can anybody connect to this family? Can you tell me how they connect to mine? Among my family lines in that area are: Fine, Phillips, Godfrey, Sandlin, Freeman and Johnson. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Jim Kelly in Kentucky.
