    3. Does anyone know where the community of Glade was/is? My gggrandfather is listed as living there in April, 1900, however I can't locate it anywhere. Thanks in advance, Lisa Kennard "Volunteer of Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness at http://raogk.rootsweb.com" Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

    3. Lisa, Glade is what the community of Good Hope used to be called, I think. It's located SW of Cullman. What was his name? I have many relatives in Good Hope. 3. Hi Michelle, Thanks for answering my question. His name was Jonathan Gay. I have loads of relatives from that area also including the Gays, Harrises, Hestlas, Johnsons and Lovelesses and other lines. Do you happen to know if Glade/Good Hope is anywhere near the little intersection of Johnson's Crossing? Lisa
