I have never heard of a Red Mountain either. I will ask my father-in-law and see if he knows. He is a native Cullman boy and he knows this area. I will let you know. My Great Aunt says she was at the cemetery in the 1950's She says it is an Indian Burial Ground with the names of the people buried there carved in cement. The Brown Family is supposed to be buried there. I have not found a Red Mountain in Cullman but maybe the place has another name and this is a old name. There is a Red Mountain in Birmingham. Could that possibly be it? There is a big hill that is near Albritten Bridge. I have heard it called Red Mountain. But it is in Blount County. Could this be what they are talking about?
