Mr. Editor-On the 14th inst. the children and grand children of Mrs. Nancy Watson gave her a surprise dinner at the residence of J.C. White-Some fifty were present, as it was her 90th birthday-A good dinner was prepared and enjoyed by all. She has been a resident of this vicinity about forty-five years. After dinner she treated to splendid homemade beer, and told her kindred and friends that she appreciated their company very much but she never expected to see them all together again in this life. We hope that all her children will ever console and comfort her, and that she may continue to receive the smiles of Heaven. J.C.W.
