Just noticed a lot of Holcomb families in Cullman Co. census and wondered where they may have come from? I am working with the Holcomb families in Etowah, Benton, Calhoun, cherokee Co`s Al. Who seem to be primarily out of Ga. and S.C. any connection?

Friendship Independent Methodist Church Cemetery, township 9 South, Range 4 West, Section 3 From the intersection of Highways 157 and 31 North of Cullman, go North on Highway 31 about 2.5 miles and turn left on County Road 1223; go about four miles and turn left on County Road 1212; church and cemetery are on the right after about another mile.
