I am happy to here there are relatives still around the area. I am named after my grandfather Dilmus Smith but my mother changed the spelling a little, the i for an e. My Ggrandfather was Bennett Aaron Smith and is buried in the Hopewell Baptist Cemetery in Hanceville Ala. His father was Aaron Smith. His father was Richard Smith. The Grant line is from Celestia Grant who married my grandfather. Her father is John Grant who was a minister. Both are buried at Hopewall. Do you tie in here anywhae4re???
