    3. Your welcome. No Young's listed. Yes it was connected to the Rebecca Lodge and the Order of Odd Fellows. The IOOF Home was like an orphanage, the children who lived there raised their own garden, livestock. This booklet was from the original records of the Home. ----- Original Message ----- From: "James S Sanders" <sandking@usit.net> To: <alcullma@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, April 13, 2007 9:52 AM Subject: [ALCULLMA] Fw: IOOF Home Look-ups > Debbie, > > First thank you for doing look-ups. > > I'm not really sure what the IOOF Home is, but could you check for a Felix > Joseph (could be Joseph Felix) Young. 3. Debbie, First thank you for doing look-ups. I'm not really sure what the IOOF Home is, but could you check for a Felix Joseph (could be Joseph Felix) Young. Felix could be spelled with a P. (Phelix). Is it the Order of Odd Fellows organization? Also for a J.H. Golden or Leitha/Letha Golden. 1. [ALCULLMA] Cullman County Heritage Book Look-ups
    2. James S Sanders
    3. Is someone doing look-ups in the Cullman County Heritage Book? I have seen queries asking for look-ups in this book, but I seem to have missed the query of the person who is doing this. Would someone let me know who is doing this. I would like to ask for a look-up, but haven't seen to whom I should address this request to. I have a family that was living in Cullman Co. in 1910 and I was hoping the book might contain some information about them or someone connected to them. 2. We might find a connection. I meant to say NC instead of SC. Andrew D. Mooe was b. 1801 NC. His wife Sarah McClendon was from Richmond co. NC according to some sources. Andrew was also listed on the 1900 Cullman co. census. Where did your Spencer live in Cullman county? Thanks, Karla ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

    1. [ALCULLMA] Spencer Bobo
    2. I've been reading your messages about Spencer Bobo Moore. I was born & raised in Cullman Co., Al. I have a Spencer Bobo in my family tree Spender Bobo born 1756 Va. died 1817 Ga. - married Nancy Berry I do not have his children. his father was Francis Spencer Bobo, and his grandfather was Francis Spencer Bobo. Then I hava a Starling Spencer Bobo born 1808 S. C. died 1834 Fayette Co., Al. He married Mary Polly Rainwater. He had at least 9 children- and one of his sons & one daughter married Moore's. Now I know the time frame is too late for your Spencer Bobo Moore- but I have found that families tend to married into the same families sometimes for generations. ( This Starling Spencer Bobo is a grandson of Francis Spencer Bobo Jr. and nephew of Spencer Bobo listed above. ) Just a thought . 1. Re: [ALCULLMA] martha Moore?
    2. If Martha Moore is buried at Jones Chapel, then she is probably connected to my Hiram Joseph Moore.(b.1867 AL) He had a dau Martha listed on the 1900 Census, she was still very young maybe 6? Would that be the right age to be the Martha Moore you mentioned? He was first married to Martha Glenn in Cullman co in 1889. She must have died young and is probably buried there at Jones Chapel. Then he married Dessie Prentice in 1895. She died 1907 and is buried in Walker co. at Bryan's chapel cemetery. Shortly after that he married my gm Lydia Sarah Isabella Elliott Chandler. She was a widow with one son and he had a houseful of chn. Then they had 4 more together. They lived out the remainder of thier lives in Northeast Jeff. Co and are buried at Pinson.
