The info I have says it is about 3 mi SE of Bremen, T12, R4, S34. Here is my dilemma: I found a listing for this cemetery which had the following family members of mine: BLACKWOOD, Elbert 1833/1891 BLACKWOOD, Elick or Alex 1876/??? Joy but in Cleveland, Blount, AL not in Cullman Co. All the above family members died in Blount Co., so it is a question as to the location of the cemetery location. The USGS states that there is a Mt. Joy in both Blount Co. and Cullman. I thought if you could look in your cemetery book for Cullman and see if they were in that Mt. Joy Cemetery, I would have my answer and be able to find out the county that I want. I hope to then find someone in the correct county to take headstone photos for me. I would really appreciate you looking and seeing if the names are a match in Cullman Co. Thanks so much for your time. Hi. I was wondering if you had run up on any Elliotts in your researching the history of the Beech Grove/Dodge City area. That is where mine were located for many years. What sort of records are available for that community? Any school or church or cemetery records for late 1800's - early 1900's? thanks, Karla

Hi, I sent this message to Terry Jackson in response to his information about the Chambers family and a book on the Chambers family. It keeps bouncing back to me, and I didn't know how else to try to get it to him. Hi, Thank you so much! Small world isn't it, at least with the web. It does sound like a wonderful book. Is it still available? Do you know the cost of this one? (Hope it's within my budget!) This is absolutely great information. All of the people in the family who might have been able to help me with this are now dead. I was beginning to believe I would never obtain any more info on Jenny. Do you know about Indian heritage in the Chambers line? I remember hearing something about some of Jenny's family being Indian. Again, thanks so much for your time and help. hello. I was interested in your reply to the Motzkus query as I graduated Holly Pond High School myself in 1977. One of my classmates was Randal Daniel. Would you be related? Karla
Does anyone know if there is a Daniels Chapel Cem.in Cullman Co.?
I am curious about how your ancestor wound up with the name Elliott when he was owned by Phillips? My ancestors were white Elliotts who lived in Hanceville and Walker Co. but I am pretty sure they didn't own any slaves. They were too poor. Thanks, Karla
