I still have the issues of my Grandfathers family. He was Oscar Alexander Ballard b-Nov. 2,1905 and d-Oct 1978 . I have been told his father was James Alexander Oliver Ballard ..no dates on him except he died somewhere around 1912 give or take a few years. I believe he was the son of Butler Ballard but i cant find him listed anywhere. Im new at this and just getting started so bear with me. I was also told that James was married to a Carolina Victory Jackson..no dates at all on her. The reason we believe he is the son of Butler is because he had a brother named Greenberry. This name does show up under Butler Ballard. If you have anymore to add to this please do. I have found a lot on my Grandmother but have hit a big brick wall on my Grandfather. Thanks
