A. PHILYAW The 1910 census (Alabama > Covington > Opp) shows a Johnnie PHILYAW with father Samuel (widowed), brothers Samuel Jr. and Lonnie, and grandmother Fannie (widowed). In 1900 the PHILYAWs are enumerated in Alabama > Conecuh > Jamestown. Head of household Samuel, wife Lucy, son Samuel L., son Lonza, and son Johnny S., born March 1900. The initial S doesn't match the middle name William in the WWI draft card, but may be an error on the part of the census enumerator. I am not related, and have no further information.
