Dear Covington List Members, This is my first posting. I am researching the family of Julia Ann McKinney who was born in 1948. Her father was Wesley Stewart McKinney, b. Dec. 1911 in Covington County, Alabama. Wesley can be found in 1930 as W. S. McKinney at age 18 on the Norfolk, VA Naval Base. In 1920, at age 8 it appears that he is living with his grandparents, Mattie and Middleton McKinney. He is listed as Stewart McKinney. I have not been able to determine who Wesley's parents are. I cannot find Mattie and Middleton in 1910 or 1900. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Margaret Oliver
