Haven't been able to link her with any Hoots family. Go to my Hoots family website at http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=hootsfamily and bring up Lawrence A. Elias Hoots, Sr. Then click on the button that gives you all of his descendants - you'll get quite a few. Lawrence lived in Alabama and some of his children were there for a while but most of them eventually went to Mississippi and then Texas. You might find some clues there. Good luck. Rod Hoots
