I looked at the Alabama death index--there is a Joe Raley listed in 1953, he died in Jefferson. There is no William who died in 1952. Have you checked with Funeral Homes in the area. I lived in Covington County most of my growing-up years. I would like to find out about a William Vert Raley; his brother was Joe Raley. I understand that Joe Raley had no children. William had two sons - William Elson (my dad) and Myron Aubrey (no kids). If anyone can give me anything, I will certainly appreciate it. I believe my grandfather died in 1952 and is buried at Bethel Methodist; however, I could not find a grave. Thanks
