Dunn). My mother was Vera Frances Hughes Gammage. My great-grandfather was James Alsey and his family is buried in the Bethel Cemetery in Heath (Covington County); about 5 miles N. of Andalusia. My parents (Jim and Vera Gammage) lived near Clearview (half-way between Gantt and Dozier, AL) close to the homeplace of Charles Beauregard (Bury) Gammage and Edna Elizabeth Bozeman Gammage. All of us children were born and raised there near Grandma and Grandpa Gammage's old homeplace. If there's anything I can share with your search, please contact me.
