Parker operated a store at Cauleysville, on the old Three Notch road, in the 1830's. This store was in the vicinity of the Bill Butler place on the Rose Hill-Burnout road.") I don't know the highway numbers...but if you go south from Brantley on U.S. 331, in about 6-7 miles (a guess), you'll come to the Rose Hill-Burnout road, turn right (this is the old 3-Notch Road. A few miles down the road you'll come to the Butler place, an impressive one-story house on the left, with a wrap-around porch on at least 2 sides, maybe 3. It's been a long time since I was down that way. Apparently, Cauleysville is/was around here. My guess is it's either County Road 46 or 62.
