Eliza Sellers was the daughter of Duncan Sellers who was in Lowndes Co. Ala. in 1830 and Butler Co. Ala. in 1840 and 1850. Duncan Sellers died in the early 1850s and is buried at Sellers Cemetery in Butler Co. (My great-great and great grandparents and other relatives are buried there.). I found the following estate record of Duncan Sellers in the Butler Co. Alabama Courthouse. Probate Minutes Book 2 p. 289 15 Nov 1856 Estate of Duncan SELLERS, adm. John F. I have a little booklet written by Duncan's g or gg-gd which says that the father of Duncan was one Wright Sellers, and that Wright's father was Benjamin Sellers of Horry Co. SC and, I believe, Columbus Co. NC before that. I personally cannot document anyone before Duncan, but would love to. I believe Duncan may be related to my gg-gf Brooks buried near him at Sellers Cemetery, and I did find an Edmond Brooks living beside a Wright and Benjamin Sellers in Horry Co. SC in 1810 and/or 1820.
