John W?Philyaw, born between 1880 and 1910, not sure if he was born in Covington or just resided there. He died in 1960. Married Cynthia D Varner, born between 1911 and 1913, unsure of year. She died between 1984 and 1990, and the D. stood for either Denny or Denty. She has a brother named James. John Philyaw & Cynthia Varner had 8 children: Jewel...married a Hogg, Mildred...married a Wells, Myrtle...married a Elmore, Sudie (died 2006)...married a Johnson, Inez...married a White, Margerette...married a Kilpatrick, Peggy (died between 1974-1976)...married several times and was deaf, & John Jr...lives in Tx. Cynthia married Hamp Wiggins (died 1/4/74 in Andalusia, AL), after John Philyaw died. If anyone knows any of these people or relatives, any help would be greatly appreciated!
