I am also interested in the Whitehead family. I have that Happy Ealum married John C. Josey and had three children: William, James and Harriet. After John Josey's death she married a Mr. Whitehead. I have a deed where she sold land to her brother, SOlomon Ealum. She signed it as Happy WHitehead. Her children's names were also given on this deed. I can't find her husband's first name and I can't locate them in the censuses. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Tonia Porter
