Surnames: Blackman/Blackmon, Wilson, Howell, Weaver Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/RS.2ADI/1625 Message Board Post: I'm trying to find info on my greatgrandfather, my greatgrandmother, my grandfather, and my grandmother, My Greatgrandfather was supposed to have come from Ga. the only name we have is his last name of Blackman, he married a Lucille Howell, who married a Wylie Weaver after the Blackman died, I guess, although they could have divorced for all we know. Next my Grandfather his son, was Walter Thomas Blackman, born Jan.13, 1875, and we also think he was born in Ga. died Aug. 9,1940, in Pensacola, Fl. He married my Grandmother, Callie A. Wilson, born Feb.14, abt 1880, not sure where, her mother is unknown to us, all we know is she was full blood Indian, unknown tribe, and she died shortly after Grannie was born, although we know she walked the Trail of Tears. They married in Covington County, Al. on Feb. 24, 1898 at the home of her Aunt who raised her, we think the Aunt was a Smith, who had a couple sons named Thomas, and John, and a sister, Grannies father was Perry Wilson,! who left Grannie with the Aunt, and went to Texas, he wrote the Aunt when Grannie was about 10 years old, saying he was coming to see Grannie, but the Aunt took Grannie and moved to another County, so he couldn't find her. Please can anyone help me with any of these names. Thank you, Earlene
