I don't know who her parents were or anyone past her. Seems she may have been orphaned & raised by a cousin. In the U S Census in Alabama for 1900 in Surles,Crenshaw Co.,Alabama I see a Katie Acree age 11(born abt 1889) living with her cousin , a George M hall age 29 then & his wife, a Sarah A Hall,age 33. Later Katie Acree married my great grandfather Frank Clifton Bennett born 21 Aug 1878. In the 1910 && 1920 census they are still in the Crenshaw County,Alabama area & raising 5 kids by then. Later it seems Katie must have died by age 31 or so because Frank is married to an Eliza by then & my grandmother Althea Mae Bennet has left the house by age 18 & married my grandfather Robert Samuel Duncan. Please,,I want info on the Acree's. Who were katie's parents? What happened to them? How did they die? Who were their parents,etc, Help HELP Please!!! Thanks in advance!!!
