I have a James (Jim) Carroll had a brother named Thomas. I have Thomas being born around 1848 in Chambers county alabama. and James being born around 1852 chambers county alabama. he married a Martha A. Adams. All the info. I have match the info i find online. I dont know if it is right. My ggrandfathers nephews son in law gave me the info. If this is the right one. James and Thomas father and mother were Patrick Carroll born around 1812 in Ireland. died in the civil war. His mother was a Jane A. Bell born in S.C. I can find them all in the 1860 census in chambers county alabama. the only one not listed is my ggrandfather Samuel B. Carroll. The names of James and Martha children connect with the other info i found on line. I wouls love more info. if you have it.
