I know my great grandmother Amanda Lenora McQueen Paulk is buried there but I don't know who else is buried there. If anyone gets a chance can they get me the names of the people buried there...It is possible it will be McQueen's, Paulk, and Cassidy, maybe a Watterson I saw your inquiry about the location of McQueen's Cemetery. It is located in T3N,R16E,Sec.6,. This is in the Oakey Ridge Community. Take Lindsey Bridge Rd.( Co, Rd. 45) from Andalusia, turn left onto Co. Rd.46, the Cemetery is a few yards to the left off Co. RD. 46. I understand it is in the woods, down a log road maybe.

The Elizabeth Stokes in this document is Elizabeth Pierce Stokes who married John Joseph Stokes. They migrated to Indian Creek, AL (Bullock Co. -- might have been Pike County at the time). The names of the individuals in this document were more than likely children and/or grandchildren of Elizabeth Pierce's parents; therefore, there is a Jordan connection. I suspect that some of Elizabeth Pierce's brothers & sisters also migrated to the same general vicinity. There are several Jeffers and Jeffries in the Old Bradley Cemetery in Escambia County Alabama, I think that area was once in Covington County, Bradley is in the extreme South East Corner of escambia County, The old eastern Trade road from the Creek Indian Nation called the Pensacola Road, on Maps of the time, went from Fort Mitchel near what is now Columbus Ga.. through Bradley on to Florida Town and Pensacola, There was a more western Pensacola Road near the Alabama River, and also a Middle one, The Pensacola road Passing through our area explains why there were so many Indians in this area. Have you done any work on the Genelogy of The Gideon Jeffers Family? I would Like to Correspond with you if so. Could there be another Jeffers Cemetery? Thanks Nathan Chessher
