I have 12 George Hydrick's in my database, but not Adelaide, so I am assuming your George would be the son of Oscar Harvey Hydrick, since he was the one that married a Smith...I have listed as Linnie V. Smith? Tell me more about Adelaide so I can get her in my database. I do have this George's ancestry back 5 generations after him, if you are interested. I researched this line because I thought I "might" connect, but still no positive proof. Having trouble finding my own Hydrick line. My great grandfather was Andrew Jackson Hydrick of Texas, but probably born in Alabama. Can't find his parents. Hope to hear from you. Ora

Yes, A legible copy of the entire Transcription can be located on my site as of now. Thanks & Happy Hunting !! _http://www.alabamagenealogy.org/covington2/_ (http://www.alabamagenealogy.org/covington2/) Lisa
Tonia, I had a hard time getting them through that site. I am going to put them on MY Covington site tomorrow in a nice neat order. _http://www.alabamagenealogy.org/covington2/_ (http://www.alabamagenealogy.org/covington2/) I noticed the site is down at the moment, not sure why. I will fix it tomorrow & let you know. Who are you searching for & I may locate some articles on them in the newspaper, but some issues are missing. I thought the Qualified Voters list would be a great thing to add because at least we might know for sure where some were actually located in 1916. There are several more items I want to transcribe also, List of letters not picked up at the Post offices, Obits, marriages etc...... I sent the List to Lisa at Tracking Your Roots but I am not sure she has had time to post a neat order of it either. Rootsweb would only let me send so much through at once & kick it back out, so I'd have to make it smaller....... But I am not sure why my site is down. Hope you found it useful. Lisa
