    3. I have been there it is well worth the trip to see the place, There is also an huge barn on down the road and way on down, is an interesting bridge to nowhere, I am told that the old road from evergreen to Montezuma went that way, it was the main road, before it was moved north, does any one have any knowledge of Old Town, in Creek that would be Tallasse or Tallahasse, as it was an old Creek or Alabama Indian town, it is just north of Cohassett? on the Evergreen, Andalusia Hwy, Also has anyone heard of Dripping Rock Cave near the Yellow river bridge north of Florala, Thanks Nathan C.

Stating that James & Nellie Dreading were the parents of Mary Elizabeth Dreading who married George Washington Turner. I was wondering if you heard of the tragedy that hit her this past year. I have not been able to reach her for awhile and now I understand why. I am off the same line as her. My great grandfather was Alfred McLelland son of Dock AKA Doctor McLelland. My grandfather Alfred & Sue Ellens Ezra Oliver were brothers. You may contact me directly at lyndavanos@hotmail.com

Please write me to let me know your lineage. As you may know, Ken Johnson is working on the possibility that Nellie Dreading (Dredding) may have been a Johnson. Because on one of the census records, there were Johnson folks in the home. So far, Ken has had no definite results. Please let me hear from you at fmcburney@aol.com so we can sort out where you fit in. You are in what we call "the James line," while I am in a collateral "William line" and I suspect that James and William were brothers. Do write. Faye
