They are my gg/grandparents. John Holmes who married Polly Kelley were my g/grandparents and their daughter Rosa Lee was my grandmother. I have a bible dated 1852 which belonged to Polly and passed from my grandmother Rosa Lee , who married John Royal from Clay Co., to my father, Willie G. Royal of Clay Co., then to me. I have been researching the Holmes, Kelley and Royal line and would be happy to exchange any information that I have.
