Cindy, thanks for your reply. No Smiths in my line. My relatives were HORN and came from Clay County. Catherine Cardwell Horn was my gr-gr aunt from Coosa and moved to Clay when she married. Her husband got into a spot with the law so they sold everything in the middle of the night and caught the train to Arkansas.
