Mary: I have some Smith connection data within the family but no John Griffin or Lavenia. There are some at Talladega Springs Cemetery, South Talladega County on the way from Marble Valley Coosa to Fayetteville AL in Talladega County, but I don't remember a John G. There is lots of listings in the Coosa 1850 Hatchett Creek District Census located on the USGENWEB/AL/ Coosa page.
