Cindy, my relatives were in Coosa County in 1850 then moved to Clay County. Thereafter, around 1860 I found them in the Hot Springs, AR area. They had caught a train and brought the family west. Maybe your family did the same thing. Took me years to find my folks and I would have never guessed Arkansas.
