My direct ancestors are: MURPHY, BARRETT, GANDY, GROOMS, BARKLEY, ALLEN, HAY, AND HOUSELY. Related surnames by marriage are: GLENN, LOGAN, HULL, RAINES, HARRIS, KELLEY, HILYER, HUGHES, PERKINS, SMITH, JONES, VARNER and many others from the western part of Coosa. If you have any of these names or are related to the Murphy family from Poplar Springs area north of Rockford, I will gladly share information.
