Could you please tell me who the parents were of your William C. Kelly? My line of Kellys came to Coosa County in ca 1848, My Jacob Kelly named his first son W. C. Kelly, but I can not find out what happened to this son. The name was probably William, as Jacob's wife's (Harriet Lybrand)father was William Lybrand. I saw the marriage data for this William C. Kelly and Sarah Lecroy and wondered who the parents of William C. happened to be. If this is the line I have, then I can take you back to the 1600's with a valid paper trail.
