Stella, if you or Sharon are poking around cemeteries or other sites around the Rockford area of Coosa County and run upon the name Nancy Ann McGough Beard Bullard I would be extremely interested. I was poking around there last year, even went to the Montgomery archives, but could not locate her. She seemed to just disappear after the 1870 census. Sion Bullard, her second husband, was granted 160 acres of land near Rockford in 1875, and, I think died prior to 1880. Nancy Ann was 26 years younger than Sion. Maybe she too died prior to 1880, but that doesn't seem logical. Nancy's first husband was Robert C. Beard who passed away before 1858.
