He also served as the minister for Flint Hill Methodist Church. James died 18 Feb 1877 in Coosa Co., AL. Nancy died 12 Feb 1880 Coosa Co., AL. They are both buried in Flint Hill Methodist Church Cemetery, Coosa Co., AL. The inscription for both is on the same headstone.
