    3. The Carolina Cemetery is located in Elmore County, was in Coosa County until 1866, when Elmore was formed from parts of Coosa and Tallapoosa. This cemetery is listed in the books prepared by Coosa County Historical Society. It is located just off U.S. 231 as you enter Elmore county. V. Howard
