She was born 4 Mar 1860 in ?, and died 21 Feb 1909 in Coosa Co., AL. He married (2) Lula M. Gothard 15 Dec 1911 in Coosa Co., AL, daughter of George Gothard and Mariah Bridges. She was born 1881 in Coosa Co., AL, and died 1953 in GA. Notes for Thomas Jackson Tippett: "Local and Personal Married at the residence of the bride's father, T. J. Tippett, near New Hope, three miles west of Rockford, on the 30th inst., M. J. Woodfin to Miss Dollie I. Tippett; Eld. M. L. White performing the marriage ceremony." He had a sale last Tuesday and disposed of practically all his effects and will make South Ga. his future home. Mr. Tippet has been a citizen of the town for a number of years, and President of the Coosa County Bank and will be missed by many of the citizenship of the town and county." Location of Butler Cemetery Thomas and Lula Tippet are buried: When traveling into Whigham, GA from Climax/Bainbridge, take a right at the Whigham's city limit sign. This is the Attapulgus/Whigham Road. Go straight for approximately four miles. Cemetery is on the left side of the road. If one travels too far, he/she will end up on Tired Creek Road. Moses Jackson and Dollie Tippet were my great-grandparents through Howard and his son John Howard. I was wondering if you have any other information on our lineage? Also Moses Jackson is buried in Coosa River Primative Baptist Church cemetary north of Wetumpka ALA. His wife Lucy is buried there with him. I attended her funeral but have no other knowledge.
