Are any of you researching WILLIS of Coosa County? Mine settled in the Hatchett Creek area. I would like to find the homeplace, where they lived. His name was James Willard, married Mary Posey, of Jasper County Georgia.. Nine children were born there. I feel it was close to the river.Someone told me there is a Willis Road in that area. The only one I find was in Northern part of County. I don't know how far reaching the census for Hatchett Creek was in the county Also, there was a Rev. James Willis in Coosa.
