All four were in the confederate army. Joseph and Jeremiah were in the 2Bat. Hilliards Legion, latter the 59th Ala. Joseph was KIA at Chickamauga and won the confederate roll of honor. I suspect he is burried on the battlfield, but don't know for sure. Jeremiah survived the war and later moved to Texas where he is buried. Enoch stayed in Alabama and I believe he is burried at Salem with his mother and father. Lacy was in the 46th Alabama and has an extensive list of battles on his service record. I have never been sure when he died or where he is burried. I think he is in an unmarked grave next to his wife, Elizabeth, at the Tabernacle Cemetery in Yalobusha, Co., MS. That grave is surrounded by his children, thier spouses, and grandchildren. I have evidence to base this theory on, but to date have been unable prove it. I also have studied this family in detail. I would be glad to share my information with you. I can trace this family to their immigrant ancestor. Don Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
